Environmental Policy
It is the Policy and Objective of Severfield-Reeve to examine the Environmental implications that arise from its operations and wherever reasonably practicable to do so, to adopt Environmentally Sensitive Systems, Products and Working Practices.

The Company’s Policy includes, but is not limited to the following key areas of operations.

 Examination and control of noise emissions.

 Ensuring that products with known Health and Environmental Risks are avoided wherever possible.

Recycling Waste Material wherever possible.

Utilising Recycled Products wherever possible.

Adopting Energy Conservation Measures wherever possible.

Procuring Vehicles with due recognition to environmental considerations, e.g.

Efficiency

Fuel Type

Emission Levels

Providing Minibuses to transport staff to site.

Avoiding, wherever possible, the purchase and use of material from non-renewable resources, or from areas known to be at risk.

The Company’s Policy, with regard to its work on Construction Sites, includes, but us not limited to the following key areas of operations.


Hazardous Materials

Consideration, during the design process, of all materials and substances used. 

Assessments such that the least hazardous material or substance is chosen for any given situation.

Waste Management Control

Ensure all waste is cleared as work progresses, using approved methods and to approved areas.

Ensure any classified waste is dealt with in accordance with COSHH Assessments.

Noise

Assessment and control of noise emissions from plant / equipment used by and under the control of the Company’s operatives.

Energy

Ensure that energy usage on site operations is minimised.

Mobile Plant & Equipment

Ensure that it is procured and used with due recognition to environmental considerations, e.g.
